Claudia Diaz joined the center in 2004, shortly after graduating from the University of Illinois at Chicago where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Information Technology-Management. She successfully completed the ADA Coordinator Certification Training Program (ACTCP) in 2016. She plays a key role in directing and supervising the Great Lakes ADA Center’s Information technology team which is responsible for developing and maintaining the Center’s web-based programs and services including the Center’s on-line and live distance learning programs. Claudia serves on multiple national leadership committees as part of the ADA National Network addressing issues related to social media, knowledge translation, DEI and National Network member collaborations. Claudia lends her knowledge and expertise to the Center and ADA National Network’s effort to reach underserved populations, specifically Spanish speaking communities.
