Dr. Sarah Parker Harris is a Professor in the Department of Disability and Human Development at UIC. She is a co-investigator for the Great Lakes ADA Center and the co-principal investigator of the ADA National Network Knowledge Translation Center. Her work focuses on addressing barriers to access and inclusion that people with disabilities face in different community settings. Her current research centers around disability and employment, education and outreach to underserved communities about their rights and responsibilities under the ADA, and knowledge translation strategies for increasing ADA implementation.
